BetCRIS Sportsbook baseball betting
As we venture into the second half of the baseball betting season, there are many things to consider.  This is the portion of the baseball season where we separate the pretenders from the contenders, the good money baseball teams from the ones that will send you to the poorhouse.  Although we are still in the midst of the work week, for those of you who actually work, and BetCRIS online sportsbook gives us overnight baseball money lines, run lines, and totals to choose from.

Going into this weekend, we have plenty of huge baseball matchups and aces on the mound.  MLB baseball has done this intentionally, of course, in hopes of maintaining the publicity steam from the baseball All-Star break.  Not that it is needed, of course, baseball being the only sport in town.  Yet Mr. Selig is a desperate man, a man prone to panicking and rash baseball decisions, so it is of no surprise to most that pivotal baseball games are taking place now.  Without further ado, let us examine the baseball games.

In the Big Apple, we have the second rate Mets playing the Atlanta Braves, their unofficial owners for the last two decades.  However, this baseball match is more of an Atlanta versus Atlanta affair, with the defector Tom Glavine pitching against John Smoltz.  While this is hardly 1996, these baseball pitchers are still relatively effective, and BetCRIS sportsbook has the over/under line at 8.  A sign of respect, respect that is no longer needed for two dinosaurs.  We like the over, despite the sport odds set at -115.

Anytime a team from the National League West, baseball’s minor league, plays a baseball team from anywhere other than the NL West, there is money to be had.  Sure the team from Cincinnati is hardly a powerhouse, but when playing the Rockies outside of Coors, they might as well being playing cardboard cutouts of baseball players.  The money line is hardly attractive at BetCRIS sportsbook, so the obvious choice would be the -1½ line, which is paying out a stupendous +140.  Expect an eight to four baseball game, or some sort of whooping of the ass.  In fact, the 9½ over line looks pretty good too.

Andy Pettite is a horrific 6-7, but it is not due to any malfeasance on his part.  His ERA is a stellar 3.07.  Mark Mulder, his opponent, is also more than serviceable, which suggests a good under baseball bet.  You might tell yourself the Cards have a potent offense, which they do, but that is counterbalanced by what is one of baseball’s worst run producing teams, the Astros.  At 8½, the under is a nice line when you consider to aces are on the mound.  Not only that, BetCRIS sportsbook has the under at nickel odds, meaning you will only have to lay down half the juice to win this baseball bet.  A baseball parlay may even be performed, with the Cardinals at either money or at the full 1½ run line.  Of course, it is highly recommended that you never mix a favored run line with the under, lest you end up rooting for runs scored and at the same time runs not to be scored.  A strange dilemma indeed.
